About Windsurf
Windsurf is an AI-powered IDE developed by Codeium, available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, built around an agentic AI called Cascade that can read, understand, write, and execute code across an entire project — not just the currently open file. Cascade operates in Flow mode, where it plans multi-step changes, runs terminal commands, interprets test output, and explains its reasoning as it works through a task.
